Stories
Every two weeks, I’ll send a story to your inbox highlighting the beauty of what God can do as the Author of the greatest stories of all—the stories of life. As an English teacher, it’s my joy to celebrate stories and the authors who write them.
That’s why I have to celebrate what God can do in the midst of gang fights, students who bravely choose to love, and cussing in class. He brings beauty out of the mess as He creatively crafts your stories and mine.
Read these stories and catch a glimpse of hope!

What about your story?
Maybe you miraculously walked away from an accident.
Maybe a song played on the radio with perfect timing.
Or maybe a plot twist in your life taught you to be brave.
God is a huge fan of two things–remembering and celebrating. And He uses stories to make it all happen.
This is your invitation to spend a few minutes remembering God’s creative work in the pages of your life.
Using the form below, write about what He’s done in 250 to 500 words. You’ll not only be celebrating His nearness in your life; you’ll also be giving anyone who reads it a chance to celebrate with you.
Like a stack of stones along the banks of the Jordan, our stories piled up are a great reminder that God is with us. May these stories be that reminder to anyone who reads them.
P.S. And don’t worry about all the grammatical stuff. I promise I won’t pull out the red pen. Just share what’s on your heart, and we’ll take care of the rest.
