The community has gathered, and we are eager to hear what God has done for you, but let’s be honest. Telling stories can be frightening. There is the concern about how the writing comes across, who will see it, and what people will think, but the purpose of this forum is not for judgement; it’s for CELEBRATION. There are challenges all over the Bible for God’s people to tell the world what God has done as a way to celebrate Him. Psalm 105:1-2 says, “Oh, give thanks to the Lord! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His wondrous works!” David challenges us to tell our stories, to celebrate what God has done. As you tell your story, you will find encouragement from reliving one of those moments, and you will cement that moment in your heart. Not only that, but you will encourage others who are desperate to see the evidence that indeed God is paying attention. Share your moment with us about when you saw God’s faithfulness or read the stories told by others. Feel free to comment on other stories letting people know how you’ve been encouraged. That’s the whole point of a forum. It is community time! Together, we will be helping each other see that God truly is Emmanuel, God with us, by making our declarations of God’s wonders.
